CIVIC CLUB!!!!
Did you know that the Clear Lake Shores Civic Club
sponsors more than a dozen fun-filled events each year?
The club also donates funds to many worthwhile causes.
We publish the Islander Newsletter and distribute it to every
island home each month. We
also acknowledge and
honor the best Yard-Of- The-Month and the best decorated homes at
Christmas. Sometimes our
giving is spontaneous like recent $1,000 donations to The American Red
Cross, and The Salvation Army. One
time we even had a huge - $3,000- fund raising event for one of our
Geese (yes Mia the Goose) that was severely injured.
We have sent care packages to our troops serving overseas, and
when able we have helped other civic and local organizations in their
efforts to better our community.
Our members take a very active role in seeing that our “Little
Slice of Paradise” that we call Clear Lake Shores is a home to us all,
and not just an address where we live.
We need your support and participation to ensure that
we continue to provide the best service we can for our island.
One easy way to do this is to join the Civic Club.
You can join any time or at one of our monthly meeting on the
first Thursday of each month, or during our annual membership drive on
July 4th of each year. Another way to help is to attend our
Civic Club Meetings and Potluck Dinners and get involved in organizing
and supporting one of the many enjoyable events that we sponsor or
support during the year:

Get involved in making Clear Lake Shores the best
place to live, join us in the afternoons at Sun Dial Park to watch the
awesome sunsets, be part of our many events and be sure to join our
club. Membership dues are a
very modest $20.00 per year.
